Besiktas are set to raid newly relegated Cardiff City for Chile international Gary Medel, according to sources in Turkey.
The 26-year-old is not expected to stay at the south Wales club following the end of their stay in the top flight and Besiktas are keen to secure his services.
Medel, who joined the Bluebirds in a club-record ?11m deal from Sevilla last summer, is believed to have a relegation release clause in his contract, and that could boost Besiktas in their bid to sign him.
The midfielder has also been tipped to return to La Liga, with Valencia and Malaga among his suitors.
