Be?ikta? board member Erdal Toruno?ullar? has stated that the Turkish club has reached a partnership agreement with Premier League giants Chelsea. The deal involves close co-operation between the first teams and academies, training support and joint scouting projects. The agreement might also see young Chelsea players go on loan deals to the Turkish club in the near future.
Be?ikta? will play the wages to most of the players thanks to the lucrative television deal in Turkey. The Blues have been criticized for so many young players which has led to the growth of their enormous squad size. This summer, Chelsea sent 26 players out on loan.
Toruno?ullar? who had recently visited Chelsea academy to discuss the agreement, while Be?ikta? took on Tottenham in the Europa League says Be?ikta? have the finances to pay significant higher wages to players. Of late, Chelsea were not able to find clubs who take take their players on loan due to high wage demands. Meanwhile, Be?ikta? helped themselves to Demba Ba in the summer agreeing to pay the 29 year old a salary worth ?80,000 per week.
Be?ikta? administrative director Semih Usta recently claimed, ?We made our short-to-long-term plans and will do our best to transform Be?ikta? into a club that pays particular attention to youth infrastructure, facilities and scouting.? The Black Eagles as they are known have a network of 65 football academies in every region of the country as well as Germany, England, Holland and as far afield as Nigeria.
But which of the current crop are most in danger of a temporary Turkish trip?
Petr Cech
A deflating start in the Capital One Cup aside, the only piece of truly competitive action the headgear-sporter has been able to sink his teeth into was the substitute?s appearance he made against Arsenal.
Cech himself has stated that if his fortunes don?t improve by January he would have to consider leaving and Besiktas, who signed Demba Ba from the Blues despite his high wages, are one club who could provide the stopper a haven without forcing him to take a pay cut.
Mohamed Salah
Since arriving in London last January the Egyptian has made a paltry 14 appearances for Chelsea, of which only half have been in starts.
With Eden Hazard, Willian, Andre Schurrle and Ramires all seemingly ahead of Salah in the queue a switch to the Super Lig could be warmly received by all parties.
Nathan Ake
Ake is one of the few Chelsea youth that hasn?t been sent out on loan during his time at Stamford Bridge.
However four appearances in all competitions since making his Premier League debut as a late sub in 2012 indicate that his path into the first team is still rather cluttered, especially with the arrival with Kurt Zouma.
