Thanks to a 4th-minute Mata goal, Real Valladolid went into the half with a 1-0 lead. Regaining their offensive flow, the Black Eagles jumped in front 2-1 through goals from Mustafa and Oğuzhan after 77 minutes, but Miguel answered back for the Spanish hosts 3 minutes later, to level the matters for good.
