Slaven Bilic's men returned to domestic action in upbeat mood after Demba Ba's late penalty had earned them a point in a 1-1 UEFA Europa League draw with Tottenham in midweek.
Demba Ba started upfront while Kerim Frei replaced Olcay Şahan on the wing while Gökhan Töre started on the other flank.
Frei offered a more explosive, attacking option compared to Şahan but provided less defensive cover.
